Happy New Year from the NMCA
Date: Wednesday, December 31
The NMCA Muscle Car Nationals would like to wish all of our racers, sponsors, vendors and fans a Happy New Year and a wonderful '09. The NMCA's 20th Anniversary Tour in '08 was a huge success as the series continued to attract more racers, fans and sponsors into our family. Chevy vs. Ford vs. Mopar...the NMCA was heads-up, wheels-up, and firing on all eight cylinders in 2008.
Next season the NMCA will be bigger and better than ever with more racers planning to compete, more sponsors coming on board, and special new events on the schedule. Every event features all the cars and all the stars of the NMCA. At select events in 2009 you will see the addition of some specialty race classes designed to bring in new racers and fans who we know will make the NMCA home. The C4/C5/C6 Corvette Shootout at NMCA's Bowling Green, KY, event will showcase modern Corvette performance on the 1320. The Late-Model HEMI Shootout at Maple Grove Raceway will feature the aftermarkets' newest performance segment as 5.7L and 6.1L HEMI enthusiasts compete against each other in their Chargers, 300's, Magnums, and all-new Challengers. The NMCA will also compete with the NMRA series at the All-Star Nationals event at zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, NC, the largest, most state-of-the-art facility in the world. This event will also play host to the Hot Rod Magazine Drags, a special event designed to showcase late-model Detroit muscle. Finally, the NMCA World Finals will once again host the incredible LSX Shootout III, the largest and most recognized all-LS event of the year!
The NMCA is ready to rock in '09 and we hope you will join us at the races!
Happy New Year.
Team NMCA
